Don’t be afraid of being too salesy to ppl you meet at the conference everyone knows that’s why you’re there, but do take a more consultative sales approach where you ask more questions than shove your business down someone’s throat.
As for prep- make sure you have some kind of one-liner about your business and what you do that you can parrot out when ppl ask
Absolutely reach out to ppl and arrange meetings AND show up and socialize – do both.
Make sure you follow up immediately
Drinks in the evenings is where all the real business is done, be charming and social and have fun.
